BIODEGRADABLE WASTE TREATMENT WITH ADDITIVE BASED COMPOSTING : A REVIEW
Authors: Prathamesh Gurme, Dr. R. P. Borkar
Abstract
The Growing world population and the resulting higher consumption of products and services has driven a rapid increase of organic wastes originating from households, industry and agriculture. This situation generates serious environmental issues, calling for safe and sustainable strategies to treat these wastes, from their production to their recycling or elimination.
Optimal capacitor placement in distribution systems for power loss reduction and voltage profile improvement using Modified Cuckoo Search algorithm
Authors: Gurpreet Kaur, Shivani Sehgal Mehta, Dr. Chintu Rza
Abstract
This paper discusses a novel and effective method for placing capacitors in radial distribution networks that regulate the optimum locations and size of capacitor with goal of refining the voltage profile and decreasing power losses.
Experimental Study On Durability Strengthening Of Concrete By Using Industry Metal Slag Waste Partially Replacement Of Fine Aggregate
Authors: B.ANTONY PRADEEP, Prof.R.DEVI
Abstract
This paper present result of an experimental investigation carried out to evaluate effects of replacing aggregates (course& fine) with that of Slag (Crystallized & Granular) which is an industrial waste by product on concrete strength properties by using Taguchi’s approach of optimization
