Authors: Rajiv Lochan Bikash Roy, Dr. D. K. Mahanta, Dr. P. K. Mahanta
Abstract
Guwahati, the gateway of North East India is facing scarcity of landfill for municipal solid waste (MSW) disposal due to increase in waste generation. Currently, the generated waste is being dumped into the landfill without treatment. This may lead to further shortage of dumping ground and may cause severe damage to the ecosystem. It may also contaminate the water body and the ground water of the surrounding area. Hence, an experiment was carried out at Assam Engineering College, premises in order to find a fruitful solution to mitigate the problem. In this work, three composting methods viz. rotary drum, pit and barrel composting were adopted. All the composters were filled with segregated household waste collected from the vicinity of the campus. From the series of experiments it was found that the rotary drum took least time to decompose whereas barrel composting took maximum days to alter the waste into compost.

Authors: Alfia Khan, Anil Kumar Sharma
Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) has been rapidly evolving towards making a greater impact on everyday life to large industrial systems. Unfortunately, this has attracted the attention of cybercriminals who made IoT a target of malicious activities, opening the door to a possible attack on the end nodes. To this end, Numerous IoT intrusion detection Systems (IDS) have been proposed in the literature to tackle attacks on the IoT ecosystem, which can be broadly classified based on detection technique, validation strategy, and deployment strategy. This survey paper presents a comprehensive review of contemporary IoT IDS and an overview of techniques, deployment Strategy, validation strategy and datasets that are commonly applied for building IDS.
Thirty Days Has September: A Daring Dramatization of Child Abuse
Authors: Dr. Rajneesh Pandey
Abstract
It very difficult for any writer to raise such social and psychological perversions in their writings. Mahesh Dattani is such a daring writer who raises this issue very seriously and unhesitatingly in his plays specially in Thirty Days Has September. Almost every religion has its own observations regarding sexual relations and that certainly do not allow sex with blood relatives and innocent children. Every society too has defined illicit relations which violets the established rules and regulation. the main action and climax of the play shockingly reveal how the crime of incestuous relation is done by the same person who exploits mother and her daughter Mala. The message of the play is very clear that the boasting of the glorious history of our country, the so called social, economic and scientific development do not mean anything if the people do not have the courage to face and accept the bitter reality of incest which, unfortunately, has become the hidden part of our so called modern society. Any problem can be solved if the problem is accepted and addressed honestly. The problem of child abuse needs to be addressed very sincerely with top priority because children are the future of any nation and society. If they are not protected to bloom then even God cannot and must not save the nation. It is the need of hour to teach our children that silence against and surrender before any exploitation is the greatest sin.

Authors: Dharmendra Katrolia, B.P. Mudgal ,Manoj Sharma
Abstract
Because of developing ecological mindfulness, just as stricter guidelines on overseeing mechanical waste, the world is progressively going to investigating properties of modern squanders and discovering arrangements on utilizing their important segment parts so those may be utilized as optional crude material for other mechanical applications. Hypo Sludge creation is a result of paper making in the Paper Mill Industries and Fly ash is side-effect of coal nuclear energy stations. Until this point, these side-effects are being utilized in other mechanical branches and in the field of common developments, for example, in concrete assembling alongside clinker and in workmanship work for common work. Thinking about the particularity of physical and compound properties of fly ash and Hypo Sludge and a progression of opportunities for their utilization in concrete, this examination work exhibits the conceivable outcomes of utilizing fly ash and Hypo Sludge together as halfway substitutions of concrete in concrete. This exploration work presents an examination of compressive strength, split rigidity and scraped area obstruction of cement by adding Hypo Sludge and Fly ash as incomplete substitution of concrete in different rates. In this work 30% concrete has been supplanted by four extents of Fly ash and Hypo Sludge keeping Silica seethe fixed as 5%. The four extents are (25% Fly ash +5% Silica seethe + 0% Hypo Sludge), (20% Fly ash +5% Silica smolder + 5% Hypo Sludge), (15% Fly ash + 5% Silica rage + 10% Hypo Sludge) &(10% Fly ash + 5% Silica rage + 15 % Hypo Sludge).

Abstract
A microgrid is a localized group of electricity sources and loads that normally operate connected to and synchronous with the traditional wide area synchronous grid (macrogrid), as the number of DC-generating renewable energy sources is higher as compared to AC-generating sources, lesser converter units are required. This increases the overall efficiency of DC microgrid. A DC micro grid system is using a power network that enables the introduction of a large amount of solar energy using distributed photovoltaic generation units. This research deals with the design and performance analysis of a DC microgrid with battery-supercapacitor energy storage system under variable supercapacitor operating voltage. MATLAB 9.4 is using to implement the model and analysis
