Abstract
Abstract

Masonry Infills (MI) can induce changes in the dynamic characteristics of RC frames due to its features and connection. In static analysis, the MI are treated as non-structural elements and only the contribution of its mass is considered whereas its structural parameters like strength and stiffness are generally ignored in practice, which leads to an unrealistic design. In this study, contribution of different configurations of partially infilled RC Frames with varying percentage of openings are analyzed. FE Analysis is carried out on partially infilled 2D RC Frames using micro modelling methods namely Gap Element and Link element. Natural frequency obtained from Shake Table tests are considered for validation of modal analysis results. Further the effect of openings provided at centre in partially infilled frames are studiedby varying the size of opening from 0% to 90%. Modal analysis is carried out on these models to obtain natural frequencies followed by Equivalent static and Response spectrum analyses for all the seismic zones as per IS 1893:(Part 1)-2016 to obtain base shear, displacements and storey drifts.

Abstract
Abstract

In this article, an attempt has been made to study the assessment of collapse resistance of RC building structures having plan irregularity. Moment resisting frame have been considered for the collapse analysis and the same have been designed as per IS:456-2000, IS:1893-2016 & IS:13920-2016. The Structure have been design using linear static method as mentioned in IS codes, and the same have been checked against collapse resistance using nonlinear static pushdown analysis. The models considered for studied are rectangular & L-shape in the plan. Typical three buildings are considered namely G+4 storey, G+7 storey & G+10 storey. For both rectangular and L-shape building, floor plate area has been maintaining same for better comparison on collapse load carrying capacity. Nonlinear behaviour of the elements is modelled using plastic hinges based on moment-curvature relationship as described in ASCE-41/FEMA 356 guidelines. The structure is pushed down monotonically to monitored failure behaviour. Four columns removal are considered for collapse assessment, potentially critical as defined in GSA guidelines. Column removal are considered on a time only, and the response of structure have been noted by pushdown curves.

EFFECT OF YOGIC PRACTICES ON HEMOGLOBIN AND HIGH DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN AMONG ADOLESCENT GIRLS

Authors: Dr. A.S. SELVAM

Published: May 2026
Pages: 15-21
DOI: 10.23586/ij2026/V12.005094
Abstract
Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out the effect of Yogic Practices on Hemoglobin and High Density Lipoprotein among Adolescent Girls. It was hypothesized that there would be a significantly improved on Hemoglobin and High Density Lipoprotein among Adolescent Girls due to Yogic Practices group than the control group. To achieve the purpose of the study investigator selected 30 Adolescent Girls were randomly selected from Chennai district. Their age ranges from 12 to 17 years. The subjects were divided into two equal groups namely, experimental group and control group. After analyzing the various factors associated with the presented study. The Selected variables such asHemoglobinand High Density Lipoprotein were using lab test. The selected subjects underwent twelve weeks Yogic Practices from Monday to Friday every week. The collected data were Analysed statistically by analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) test and 0.05 was fixed as the level of significance. It was concluded that significantlyincreased in the Hemoglobin and High Density Lipoprotein due to effect of twelve weeks training of Yogic Practices when compared to control group among Adolescent Girls.

Abstract
Abstract

Green Banking is any form of banking in which country ca take the benefits of environment. They can protect the environment and operate their functions in very effective manner. A traditional bank becomes a green bank by providing its core operations and functions for the betterment of the environment and its sustainability. Green Banking has become a buzzword in today’s banking scenario. It effects developing inclusion of banking strategies, which will in turn substantial economic development, and promoting environmental-friendly practices as well. There various green banking practices adopted in banking sectors. By using online banking and its services is the way to adopt green banking, which can save your paper and energy also. Another way is to payment bills on time, not is turned off, or shut down due to lack of payment. Besides these ways, many more others protect the environment and it is sustainable. Therefore, green banking is not beneficial only for the environment, but it has also advantages for you because green In Meerut City, the launch of green banking has brought a revolutionary change in the banking sector and has moved financially ahead of green initiatives. In this research paper, the data has been collectedfrom 150 bankers of both public and private sector banks using simple random sampling. For data analysis, Correlation and regression analysis were used to analyze the results of the study. The results of the study suggest that Environmental Training, Energy Efficient Practices and Green Projects have significant Impact on Bank’s Environmental Performance.

Abstract
Abstract

COM-Poisson Process is the generalization of Poisson Process. COM-Poisson Thomas process is a generalization of Thomas distribution. COM-Poisson Thomas Process is a compound COM- Poisson process with compounding shifted Poisson distribution. In this paper, some mathematical models like Traffic accidents and fatalities model, shock model, natural disaster model, game model and system reliability models using COM-Poisson Thomas Process are framed.
